Title/Format/Rating/Source: Fillmore East - LP - B+/A- Soundboard
Date/Location/Venue: 04/06/68 - New York, NY - Fillmore East
Year & Country Issued/Label: Unknown - USA - Trademark of Quality (TMOQ)
Comments: This LP was great in its time, but surpassed in sound quality by better and more complete CD versions. LPs with the title, "Fillmore East" or "Live At The Fillmore East" were issued on many different labels and with lots of cover varations.
Track Listing: Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy Jack, Relax, A Quick One While He's Away, Easy Goin' Guy, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider

Comments: This LP attempts to take tracks from other boots, in a less-than-meaningful way. Unless you just like the cover, don't bother!

Comments: Another LP "boot of a boot" scenario. Both concerts have since been redone "better" on CD.

Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy Jack, Relax, A
Quick One While He's Away, My Way, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider

Track Listing: 12":
Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy Jack, Relax, A
Quick One While He's Away, My Way, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider

Title/Format/Rating/Source: Live Over 20 Years (Live At The Fillmore East) - CD - A- Soundboard
Date/Location/Venue: 04/06/68 - New York, NY - Fillmore East
Year & Country Issued/Label: 1988 - Italy - Koine
Comments: To my knowledge, this was the very first Who CD bootleg. Apparently at the time of its release, the laws in Italy allowed live recordings (over 20 years old) to be exempt from copyright laws, hence the title of the CD. While very exciting to have back in 1988, the source, unfortunately, was a copy from vinyl--and a little thin sounding at that. Better versions (i.e. "Shakin' All Over") have surfaced since.
Track Listing: Summertime Blues, Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy Jack, Relax, Easy Going Guy, Boris The Spider, My Generation, A Quick One, Shakin' All Over

Title/Format/Rating/Source: Shakin' All Over - CD - A+ - Soundboard
Date/Location/Venue: 04/06/68 - New York, NY - Fillmore East, 1969 - Unknown
Year & Country Issued/Label: 1994 - Unknown - Gold Standard
Comments: If you're looking for the Fillmore East boot - this is it. I might argue that "Who Are Those Masked Men?" is every-so-slightly better, but that disc is nearly impossible to find.
Track Listing: Fillmore East '68:
Summertime Blues, Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy
Jack, Relax, A Quick One, My Way, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider, My
Generation
Live '69: Young Man Blues

Title/Format/Rating/Source: Live At The Fillmore East 1968 - CD - A - Soundboard
Date/Location/Venue: 04/06/68 - New York, NY - Fillmore East
Year & Country Issued/Label: 1996 - Japan - Midas
Comments: This CD is part of a series of CDs issued on the Midas label from Japan, which took rare, officially released album covers and modified them. This CD cover is basically the same as the original Japan, "The Who Sell Out", but with a different picture of the band inserted. The music itself seems to be copied from the "Shakin' All Over" CD (above).
Track Listing: Summertime Blues, Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy Jack, Relax, A Quick One, My Way, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider, My Generation

Title/Format/Rating/Source: Who Are Those Masked Men? - CD - A+ - Soundboard
Date/Location/Venue: 04/06/68 - New York, NY - Fillmore East, 1967 Beat Club, Germany & 1967 Marquee Club, London
Year & Country Issued/Label: 1998 - USA - Unknown
Comments: The Fillmore East section of this CD is among the best of the Fillmore boots - arguably slightly better than "Shakin' All Over" (above). However, the "bonus tracks from the Beat Club & Marquee Club, while soundboard in source are very "scratchy" sounding, making the rare performances difficult to enjoy.
Track Listing: Fillmore East '68:
Summertime Blues, Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Little Billy, I Can't Explain, Happy
Jack, Relax, A Quick One, Easy Going Guy, Shakin' All Over, Boris The Spider, My
Generation
Beat Club '67: I'm A Boy, Heatwave, Happy Jack
Marquee Club '67: So Sad About Us, My Generation

Year & Country Issued/Label: 1993 - Italy - Black Panther
Comments: A hodge-podge of different sources copied from other boots. Nice cover, but that's about it... (See comments on previous page for more details about the non-Fillmore tracks)
Track Listing: Monterey Pop Festival:
Substitute, Summertime Blues, Pictures Of Lily, A Quick One While He's Away,

Title/Format/Rating/Source: Jaguar Club - CD - C - Audience
Date/Location/Venue: 08/10/68 - St. Charles, Illinois - Jaguar Club
Year & Country Issued/Label: 1999 - UK - Unknown
Comments: Interesting set list with earlier and powerful version of "Heaven And Hell", bluesy version of "Young Man Blues", a very cool version of "Daddy Rolling Stone" and an extremely long (18+ minutes) of "Magic Bus". The audience source tape is fairly clear, although it fades from channel to channel and the speed is too fast by ~5%. However, given the unique set list and performances, it's worth putting up with.
Track Listing: I Can't Explain, Fortune Teller, Tattoo, Heaven And Hell, Young Man Blues, Daddy Rolling Stone, Summertime Blues, Magic Bus, Boris The Spider, A Quick One While He's Away, My Generation
