The original 1965 UK pressing of the The Who's "My Generation"
LP has been heavily bootlegged. "Pirate" copies, made to look like original
pressings to fool unsuspecting collectors are frequently sold in the market
place. For example, I was sold a "second pressing", as a legitimate release,
when in fact it was actually a pirate. Here's a side-by-side comparison for what
to look for. Please note that pirates may have been
produced by different sources and therefore may vary from the example pictured
